1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Easy Dine.

By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

If you're under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm you have permission from a parent or guardian to use the App.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Notify us immediately at help@easydine.org if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.

3. User-Generated Content

3.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of the recipes, reviews, comments, photos, and any other content you submit to Easy Dine ("Your Content").

3.2 License You Grant Us

By posting Your Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute Your Content within the App, solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.

For example, this allows us to show your published recipe to other users or include it in search results.

This license ends when you delete the specific content or your account, except for content that has already been shared with, or incorporated into content owned by, other users.

3.3 Content Standards

You agree not to post content that:

• Infringes someone else's intellectual property or other rights.
• Is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit.
• Contains malware or is intended to disrupt the Service.
• Impersonates another person or entity.
• Is spam or unauthorized advertising.

We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to review, moderate, and remove content that violates these standards.

We may also suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate them, using the reporting and moderation tools built into the App.

3.4 Recipe Accuracy

4. AI-Generated Content

Easy Dine uses artificial intelligence to power several features, including:

• Extracting a recipe from a video or link you provide.
• Rewriting ("remixing") a recipe to fit a stated goal, such as making a recipe vegan.
• Estimating an ingredient's price and nutritional content.
• Generating a brief "healthiness" note about a recipe.
• Powering the in-app recipe chat assistant.

You're responsible for independently verifying any AI-generated recipe, ingredient, price, or nutrition information before relying on it, especially anything related to food allergens or health.

5. Easy Dine Pro Subscription

Certain features are available only to subscribers of Easy Dine Pro.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, using the payment method on file with your Apple ID or Google Account.

We do not process or store your payment card information ourselves.

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their own refund policies, not by us directly.

Changes to Pro Features

We may change which features are included in Easy Dine Pro over time and will make reasonable efforts to notify subscribers of material changes.

6. Health and Nutrition Disclaimer

These estimates are generated from limited data sources and/or AI models and may be inaccurate or incomplete.

They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified physician, registered dietitian, or other healthcare professional.

If you have a medical condition, food allergy, or dietary restriction, consult a healthcare professional before relying on any information in the App.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other users' accounts, or our systems.
• Use automated means, including bots or scrapers, to access the App outside of its intended use.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functioning, including circumventing rate limits on AI features.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit access to the App without our written permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any account that violates this section.

8. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services, including:

• Supabase
• RevenueCat
• Groq
• Google
• Anthropic
• Apify
• Kroger
• USDA FoodData Central

These services provide certain features of the App.

We're not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services, which are governed by their own terms.

9. Intellectual Property

The App itself — including its design, branding, and underlying software, excluding Your Content and any third-party content — is owned by the Developer and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App except as permitted by applicable law.

Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time through:

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you've violated these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the App.

Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
